Outlier.org is excited to announce a partnership with InStride, a global leader in employer-sponsored education. Starting this June, employers utilizing InStride’s platform can access an unlimited subscription service to Outlier.org’s high-quality, accredited college courses.

NEW YORK (APRIL 17, 2022)–– Outlier.org is excited to announce a partnership with InStride, a global leader in employer-sponsored education. Starting in June this year, employers utilizing InStride’s platform can access an unlimited subscription service to Outlier.org’s high-quality, accredited college courses, empowering employees to advance their education and careers.

This innovative subscription service will provide employees with unlimited access to Outlier.org's engaging, expertly designed courses taught by inspiring instructors from leading institutions such as Yale, Harvard, and MIT. Courses include a wide array of subjects including computer science, intro to business, professional communications, statistics, financial accounting, psychology, and much more. These courses teach highly sought after durable skills like critical thinking, problem solving, and written and oral communication, which are highly sought after by employers.

All Outlier.org’s for-credit courses, transcripted by the University of Pittsburgh, enable employees to earn transferable college credits on a flexible path to a degree. They are available on a rolling cohort basis every two weeks. Employees who do not need or plan to pursue a degree can still benefit from this high-quality curricula by accessing auditable professional learning and training resources.

The Outlier.org subscription provides a cost-effective, comprehensive educational benefit for employees enabling employees to access up to 20 college courses and potentially accumulating up to 60 credits.

Outlier.org’s college courses can be used by employees to pursue a variety of goals including lowering the cost of a degree program by transferring in credit, obtaining prerequisite credits in preparation for a graduate program, gaining valuable skills to drive career growth, or even gifting education benefits to employee dependents. Additionally, Outlier.org's subscription offering will help employees transfer credits to InStride's university and college partners to complete their degrees.
